God, Known and Unknown,
All I know will never be enough to satisfy my persistent curiosity. All I don’t know will always haunt me and cripple me.
Give me rest from my striving.
Erase my attachment to all that lies behind me.
Grant me the capacity to transfer my sense of worth from human achievement to divine acknowledgement.
May I be found here in your heart, known by you. May my restless heart find contentment in the unknown in you and the unknown in me.
By nightfall, if all I have is confidence that I am known by you, let that be enough.
Amen.
